Bispham was a Philadelphia, Pennsylvania artist known for hunting and fishing genre and wildlife paintings. He studied under noted Philadelphia landscape and marine artist, William Trost Richards and later in Paris under genre and landscape painter, Otto Weber.
Bispham exhibited at the Boston Art Club, National Academy of Design, Brooklyn Art Association, Philadelphia Sketch Club, and the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts.
