Little biographical information is currently available for British landscape artist Enoch Crosland. His father was a wholesale druggist and Crosland was an antique dealer and furnisher restorer, as well as an artist. Crosland painted villages and river scenes around Derbyshire—Ambergate, Clifton, Nottinghamshire were among some of the areas where he painted. Crosland was a member of the Nottingham Society of Artists and exhibited at the Royal Academy of Arts in London.
